Added an HEI to my inline 250. Question is which wire is + and -? Pink and brown are the two leads coming out of the distributor. Also, where should I tap the tach wire into?

First you should be replacing the positive wire to the HEI with 10 awg wire, minimum 12 awg. The HEI requires a full 12v to coil. This has been discussed many times.

Second assuming this is not a Pertronix, or external coil, it is marked on the distributor cap Tach and Bat.
