I just got a 1949 Olds for parts (with a 303 Rocket V8) and believe it or not, the radiator it the same size. the top outlet it about 2" offset, which should be fine with a flexible hose. but here's the good parts:
first, it's 2-1/2" thick, versus 2" for my truck radiator
second: it has a shroud! I do need to use the Olds fan as well to fit the shroud.
so one of these weeks, before summer starts (which will be in a month, here in AL) I will install my 1949 Oldsmobile "desert cooler special" package. I am going to run so cool, it'll be great!
