Jul 21st, 2025 | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 738 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 738 | I just scored 2 free doors, with good glass for my 61. The doors are junk, and really rusty, but the hardware on the doors is still good. Also all the glass is good, that is why I wanted them.
Here's the issue. How do I take the doors apart? I want to get to the assembly and save as many parts as I can.

Mark thank you for the pictures and diagrams, I really need to get a proper shop manual. I was able to get a pair of doors for free from a guy at work. They are rusted to pieces, but all the glass is good and lots of hardware parts to scavenge. So I have all the parts I need, now I just need the motivation to get my butt out to work on it!!
