Has anyone used the replacement new HEI assemblies? How about a replacement aftermarket 1 barrel carb instead of the Rochester? Or any advice where to purchase any of these items. The Roch. model B in the early 60's is not a bad carb. It has been beefed up in the throat area to prevent the warpage problems they had on the earlier ones. The monojet from 68 up is a good carb. if you get the manual choke or electric choke model. Some Stovebolters use the Weber carb. with an adapter & say they work real good. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum | | |
