The front rims just barely hit the tie rod. I have a guy that will plasma cut me a spacer from 3/16 or 1/4 inch metal that i can put right over the studs, basically a ring with holes in it.he will do the job for $50. Does anybody have any thoughts on this. Is there something else I should do? Try a Google search and you can choose from hundreds of suppliers. All you have to be careful of is that you still have full engagement of the nuts with the spacer in place. I was going to have them made also and happened to be at a shop that sold custom wheels. He had some in different thickness . They were about $ 8.00 each. Been on for 5 years now clears 16x8 rims with P255/70r16 on them. | | |
