Has anyone done this and how? Are there adapter kits available so a dual setup can be achieved?

The above is how I did my Dad's 46 dual conversion. There should be a pics hyperlink in that post that show how I modified the bracket. Hope this helps.

I did it to my 58 - you can get the complete kit on ebay or through most parts guys LMC etc.

I upgraded to power brakes - drum/drum. Bolted right in - had to drill 1 hole.

The only issue I had was I had to remove the e-brake cables to make room - There is a pulley in the 58 that I need to push to the rear about 10 inches. Still haven't put it back in (its cold outside).

My kit re-used the existing brake pedal.

I don't belive that you will find an adaptor kit for your 46. In order to keep your orig. pedal assembly you will need to fab a bracket to mount your dual master cylinder.

It's not hard to do. If you send me an email I can sent you some pictures and a short write-up on how I did this on my 46.

It's worth the effort IMHO.

Excellent solution that doesn't distroy the original brake/clutch pedal bracket! I'll have that bracket fabricated and give "Lucille" a safer braking system. Your input is greatly appreciated!
