Does anybody have any feedback on LMC parts. Have seen other posts on different co. but nothing on LMC. Just wondering how the service and parts are.

There not bad, guess you could compare them to Auto Zone grade, but not to get a argument going, all replacement parts have been downgraded to some egree with all the off shore parts coming in. I can remember the NAPA/Echlin inition parts were top of the line but now there quetionable. Personally I think we shot our selves in the foot buying the imported stuff instead of spring for the good stuff and the good stuff has radually gone away. JMHO.

... well, I have purchased a little stuff from them but they are not at the top of my list. I like JimCarter and American Classis of which both are Stovebolt friendly. There, I said it!!

Now, if you do your home work you can throw in a couple others depending on what parts your looking for. These vendors sometimes buy from one another so it really boils down to who you can deal with, who you like, and who YOU think gives you the best service and price.....of which, some give Stovebolters a discount and some have shipping deals.

They are at the top of my list based on the quality of their service. I started using them after having some bad experiences with other vendors and have been very happy with LMC's service.

When I price check they often are not the cheapest, but since the cheapest has always given me poor service I'm willing to pay a little more.

Since most of the old truck reproduction items are all made by the same companies quality comparisons are often meaningless. You'll get the same quality from any of them because they are selling the same parts.

I almost always check general sources before going to an old truck vendor. My most recent purchase was actually from Rock Auto and I've found they have had a number of the things I've needed. Because they do much more volume pricing is often better and I've been pretty happy with their service too.
