I just want to say thanks to everybody, what a great service this is.I have learned more about old trucks in the past week or so than I have in the previous 47 years. My dad owned a 48 chev truck when I was a young boy. The truck was nothing special just a old truck but for some reason that is the one vehicle that I always remember him in. Bought my '51 late last summer and found this site shortly thereafter.
My dad had a'54 back in the early 60's. Carted home my pony in it when I was 7 years old. I never asked for a pony, either. I was happy ridin' the ol' sow, Marcella. I think dad bought me the pony 'cause Marcella was goin' to be butchered.
But enough about that. This is a informative and entertaining site.
