For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 27 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 27 | I found this site about two days after I purchased a 1948 chev truck. I just want to say thanks to everybody, what a great service this is.I have learned more about old trucks in the past week or so than I have in the previous 47 years. My dad owned a 48 chev truck when I was a young boy. The truck was nothing special just a old truck but for some reason that is the one vehicle that I always remember him in. Again I just want to say thank you to all. Snowed in in minnesota | | | | | Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 419 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 419 | I can identify. Bought my '51 late last summer and found this site shortly thereafter. My dad had a'54 back in the early 60's. Carted home my pony in it when I was 7 years old. I never asked for a pony, either. I was happy ridin' the ol' sow, Marcella. I think dad bought me the pony 'cause Marcella was goin' to be butchered. But enough about that. This is a informative and entertaining site.
