Hey guys new to this body style and model.I've got a 63 Chev.1/2 ton panel and need to know what will fit,like windshield,doors from what other years.Been able to look on this site for bout a week and got registered and was amazed how helpful everyone is.Thanks

welcome! Here's a what I believe is a list of years that exchange with each other. I hope others will add to the list. This should cover all 1/2 ton to 1 ton trucks/panels/suburban.

1960/63 * windshield - all

1960/63 * doors - all

1960/66 fenders - all

1960/66 seats - panel only

1960/66 door handles - all

1960/62 front bumper - all

1963/66 front bumper - all

1960/66 rear bumper -?

1960/62 rear bumper - suburban only

1963/66 rear bumper - suburban only

You are mistaken about the bumpers.
'60-'62 bumpers are different than '63-up bumpers.
Suburban rear bumpers are Suburban only, divided '60-'62 and '63-'66

Front suspension is '60-'62, '63-'66.
Rear suspensions are likewise divided.

Radiators are also '60-'62, '63-'66, along with core support and fan shrouds.

The panel that the grille mounts in is different as well, '60-'61, '62, and then I think '63-'66, but it's just a matter of a couple holes. I put a '60 grille in my '62, and don't remember if I had to drill extra holes or if it was a bolt-in.

Kick panel vents are also '60-'61, '62-'66.

Thanks Brad, I was guessing at best. I made the corrections. Since we are on the subject, what about the rear bumpers on the panels and the trucks? What about gauges, dash, emblems etc?

I believe the '60 had a small script "Chevrolet" emblem on the glove box.

Instrument clusters are kinda all over the board, '60-'62. Some had full gauges, some had either a temp gauge or I think an oil pressure gauge, by '62 they were idiot lights and a gas gauge.
The bigger trucks had full instrumentation, and that's what I found for my '62.

Not sure about any differences between panels and Suburbans, but definitely Suburban rear bumpers won't work on a pick-up--Subs don't have a recess for the license plate like a pick-up.

Oddly, the cable-operated kick panel vents have different mounting screw locations from the later lever-handled vents. The kick panel opening on the '60-'61 trucks also have a notch in the mounting area for the cable to pass through. I put 'em on my '62 and had to redrill the mounting holes on the truck, and cut the notch with a die grinder.
