Looking for new wiper blades for my 66 C10 and the new blads don't work with my wiper arm style which is straight and doesn't have the curve on the end... how can a get an arm that will fit new style blade applications with the curve at the end... does a later year arm fit a 66, can I put an 1980s arm on a 66 wiper assembly? any help on this would be appreciated!

I never liked the tension (or lack of tension) that the originals have.
I found a wiper arm in autozone that fit the drivers side.
They are called "Mighty Clear" and have part number 42873 (I have my originals in the package they came in). If I recall correctly they are for the rear window on a Jeep Cherokee.
I removed the rivet and slightly spread the squeezed part to reverse one for use on the passenger side. I used a screw and nut to replace the rivet.

new too the site but have been checking it out for awhile now... too Rusty 64 RIGHT ON FELLA the tip on the wiper arms finally gave my 65 wipers after a year without them... now just have too stop turning them on when passing the police. laffin

Are these chrome wiper arms or ar they black?

The wiper arms i got were black not sure if chrome was available

Mine were black.
Then again that is what I wanted.

I just replaced the wipers on my 64 just went to Shucks and got replacement arms they fit perfectly they are of much better quality than the factory arms and they except the common late model style blades not sure what the part numbers are but I will find out and post them soon.
