I know that it would require extensive frame and sheet metal work, but was just wondering whether anyone knows if it could/has been done. I've seen ones done just using another pair of doors with the forward slant left as is(wierd), but the one Mongo posted must've used door tops from yet another pair to achieve the squared off look. Either way,it's a lot of work!

I know its gonna be a lot of work to make it look right but i think it will be worth it in the end. | | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 649 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 649 | Just a suggestion, what if you used the front sheet metal from a "Big Bolt"? The front wheels/tires would fit the 1 ton chassis better and if necessary "radius" the rear fenders? I like the idea and have the components, but would consider the 83 1/2 ton frame I have. I'm trying to figure out how to hang the rear doors in the conventional way. The center pillar would have to allow for hinge pockets, and maybe modify the doors too make it look right. | | | | Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 15 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 15 | Seems like I saw one at the Sacramento Autorama a couple of years ago....I don't recall any other details.
