I have checked prices from several parts suppliers, whom we all know and love, plus my local spring shop, and found prices from $300 to $688 per pair. None of these sources described the springs in any way to suggest that theirs were superior to or more economical than anyone else's. Actually I replaced the front and reconditioned the back and my, my how much better the truck sits and handles now. I have read from many folks on here that most of the suppliers get their springs from the same people. That being said I bought my new springs from Jim Carters because of price and availability. I recieved them in no time at all. I took my rear springs to a local shop, was alittle sketchy as I dealt with one of the workers, because the shop no longer works on smaller trucks, just big rigs. He made new top springs and re-arched them and it sits higher and handles a load fine. I spent the same amount of cash dealing with him to get them re-arched, as I spent getting new ones from Jim Carter's. Now the guy also said the old ones are worth keeping and re-arching, because of steel quality and not making them like they used to sort of thing. So take it as you please. I hope that helps.

They had the original style clamps between the center and eye of the springs, which I've heard that others use a cheaper style clamp. I've heard good things about St. Louis Spring, although I have not used them.
