I acquired small block aluminum finned corvette valve covers, however, both covers have the oil filler and pvc valve hole in them. Can I install them if I plug the pvc hole and oil filler hole on the side where the original had no holes?

I got tired of the center bolts and opted for the kit to change the valve covers to the traditional type which (of course) had the holes reversed requiring some re-plumbing but I am very happy with them. They are GM certified polished aluminum cast with the Chevrolet letters in red. | | |
