Does it look like your truck has been repainted? What is the color of your grill (and the color of the inner part of the middle grill-bars)?
What is the code on the door-plate (between the hinges on the driver's side of the cab)? Can you post a photo of the hood side-emblems?
The block (and most likely head) date casting codes will most likely indicate 1955.
