I just found this board, looks like a lot of good folks with a lot of information here. I am rebuilding a 1966 C10 stepside with my son, we have had it for a year or so now. The plan is to have it done (ish) by the time he turns 16 (2 years). So far we have almost finished rebuilding the straight 6 250, new wheel bearings and brakes, and a few small jobs. Short term plan is to have it on the road by this summer. Doesn't have to be pretty, just moving safely! I may not be the most active member on here, but I'm looking forward to it. Thanks

Plus it's a great way to spend time with 'junior'. Glad to see you're paying attention to the important stuff first. If you do the rest of the truck to the standards I've seen in your pics,it'll be a fine looking truck. Driving to school in that will be way better than todays generic belly button cars.
