on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 438 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 438 | I have a 49 Suburban that I have upgraded from vacuum wipers to electric with the newport engineering motor. Now I would like to upgrade the wiper arms and blades to newer style as well. Does anyone know a replacement that I can get at FLAPS that has correct length etc.? What year and model would fit?

Pick up a "Classic Trucks" magazine and flip throught for adds. Becareful though; you want to be sure to get the ones that fit your shaft size and don't look like they belong on a spaceship.

I was hoping to use the lazy method where a previous Bolter who had retrofit new blades could say ones from a "72 Blazer" fit perfect on an AD. If that doesn't happen I'll take some measurements and go to a FLAPS.
