I know this is probably already been done but in my mind I'll be the first to do it lol

I have a 1993 Chevy astro it is an all wheel drive van I want to take the H plate out from under it along with the rear end, I have a 1936 Chevy truck I measured the wheel base of the van against the truck and there is a 1/4 of an inch difference between them, now do you think I could fabricate the h plate onto the front of the frame of my 36 Chevy ? Could I take the tbi off and just put on a carb ? On a scale of 1 to 10 how hard do you fellow stove bolter's think it would be ? Thank you let me know because if it's doable I'd like to get started. Lots of issues to deal with using Astro van parts. The steering system would have to be re-engineered to allow for a more correct steering box shaft angle, plus you have to deal with the wear prone dual idler arm setup. The entire drivetrain is offset to the right by about 4", whch can cause problems with the riveshaft angle, unless you use the van rearend, too. On the engine, you would need a different intake manifold, as well as a non-comutor distributor, but it can be made to work. That part would actually be the easy part.
I won't say it can't be done, but it will be alot of work. I'd put it at a 8.5-9.5 on the scale.
