10 over for a SBC

Is there such a thing for Small block Chevy [327 cu ] ???

I have a block that is a little sloppy and a 10 over would take care of it AND we could do it in shop .

Does anyone know where I may get these ?
Thanks
Dan

It's VERY unlikely, plus it would be hard to find a machinist willing to spend the time setting up a boring bar to take an accurate .010" over cut. The last .003" or so have to be honed out after boring, so the shop would have to set up a boring bar to a dead-accurate cylinder centerline, make one pass of about .007", remove the boring bar, and hone-fit the pistons. If you could find pistons, (unlikely) and rings (even more unlikely), and then locate a shop with a Sunnen CK-10 power hone, you could get them to diamond-hone the cylinders to 10 over. .020" is about the most common first oversize. BTW, most cylinders wear somewhat egg-shaped, so you might not get a clean cut all the way around with less than a 20 over cut.

even if they make them, it might be cheaper to pay to have them bored to .030 over since those are pretty common.
