I have a th350 behind the 235, and can't find a kickdown cable that will reach the carb linkage. Is there a cable that is longer than standard. I've had 5 or 6 sent to me, including the universal/adjustable, but still way too short. What's next?!

I asked my transmission guy & he said they did come different lenghts depending on the year of the car/truck, which mtr 6 or V8 and which carb might be ran and linkage brackets. I want to comfortably route the cable without any pinch spots. I've tried the adjustable, and it too was short. Thanks for the part #
