I've been thru 40 pages of search info, and can't find but one answer. "Get one made". I have a th350 behind the 235, and can't find a kickdown cable that will reach the carb linkage. Is there a cable that is longer than standard. I've had 5 or 6 sent to me, including the universal/adjustable, but still way too short. What's next?!

get rid of the cable as it will fray and cause issues later on and make yourself a solid linkage from round stock or find a shopping cart and use the metal rods from it this will be a custom application and will never fail you

Kinda hard to do that since the 350turbo's uses a cable to downshift the transmission that is feed to the inside of the trans...Joe

There are too many turns in the route from tranny to linkage. It has to be a cable. Does anyone know of a specific company that makes custom kickdown cables for th350?

Wes how much to short is it??
I asked my transmission guy & he said they did come different lenghts depending on the year of the car/truck, which mtr 6 or V8 and which carb might be ran and linkage brackets.
There is an adjustable cable you can get that will go from 24-48" that is made by ATP part# is Y754 and should be about $30 or so...Joe

I need about 4.5 feet. I want to comfortably route the cable without any pinch spots. I've tried the adjustable, and it too was short.
Thanks for the part #
