i glued a magnet onto the shade of my drop light. i never found the hook all that usefull. now i just stick it where i need it.
i'm sure i'm not the first to do this but i had never seen it before.
also, in the summer i use a cfl instead of and incandecent bulb. keeps the heat down. | | |
