i'm in the process of rebuilding the brake system on my '54 3/4 ton.
on the top of the backing plate, near the wheel cylender, there is a pin that the top of each pad rests against. it is held in place by a large nut (5/8 or so). the pin is on an ecentric and can be adjusted and set by the nut. what is this adjustment for?
