Is there any difference between the 48 and 49 front end on the 1/2 ton Advance Design chevy pickup?

The 1/2, 3/4, and 1 ton hood, fenders, and grilles are the same from '48 to '53.

I thought you were talking about sheet metal. I'm not sure about the front axle. Someone else will need to answer that one.

'48 and '49 are the same, they both have Huck brakes and lever action shocks, assuming no one has swapped them out.
Axle, spindles, hubs, drums, steering linkage all the same
