Thanks for the info. I was looking at that one ton on the ebay/craigslist forum in Oregon.

[quote=Peggy M]Hello, hello. I see some names in here I've never seen before. So, it's good to see you all have generated a little "chatter."
"snipped"

Peggy,
I'm not sure if we're still voting on this forum staying but please count me in.

I'm beginning to have some doubts about previous info I've seen about 1 tons posted in the various forums.
I'm guessing a few folks were answering based on how their 1/2 ton was equipped.

It'd be nice to get answers from fellow 1 ton owners.
Thanks.

Hi all. New to this forum and glad to see 1 tonners restored just before I got here. This may have answered one of my burning questions - which rear fenders do I look for. I dragged my "Dec.'46" former municipally owned 1 ton home July 2008 and done almost nothing yet except loosely hang the front fenders and running boards, drain the tank, installed a 6 volt batt.,turned it over(no start,it has spark issues) and swept out the bed. Maybe I'll try to tarp it this winter. Anybody got rears they don't need? Cheers.

You will get a better response if you put an ad in the parts wanted area of the swap meet.

Mirrors and arms for a 1 ton 1959? Does any one know a source for mirrors and arms ? Not the short ones seen in LMC or classic.

Hi 59apache36,
Jim Carter Truck Parts might have those. They have a pretty wide variety of different truck parts, from new reproduced parts to used original parts. They prices are usually pretty good too.
Here's a link to their website:

59apache36 feel free to start a new thread for a question like this. You'll often get more response if your question can be discerned from the subject line.
