Gregg New Guy G Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 2 South Carolina	I am looking at a '61 C-10. It currently has a underbed gas tank that needs to be replaced. All the parts places I search show underbed tanks only available for '63 - '66. I assume the frame size is different. The current owner does not where the current tank came from. Can anyone tell me if one is available and where? Thanks.

Ziggynz44 New Guy Z Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 4 Australia	As far as i know, all 61's has the gas tank behind the seat. Your truck must be fitted with an after market tank or tank from some other model. Maybe your local chev club could help you identify it?

Spareparts2 'Bolter S Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 240 Lansing, Ks	I got mine fron LMC for my 65 GMC $199. fit right and the mounting/locater tab's fit the existing hole in the frame, just had to drill holes for the straps. The filler neck is in the left read corner and will come out the back part of the fender, I will have to get some kind of a door for it right after I get a step side bed. I think the earlier trucks had a litle different configuration, might take some trimming. You Learn more Listening than Talking
