my owners manuel for my 62 chevy 1/2t 4x4 says that it came with 17.5 wheels. Has anyone ever seen any of these?

I never have but could it possibly be a "bud" wheel? like on the larger trucks, I had an international 1/2 ton with factory bud wheels on it.

I've checked 2 different spec guides, 15" is the only listed option for the K10. 17.5' is listed for the K20. The 6 lug Budd wheel was used on IH, Dodge, and Ford 1 tons, perhaps Studebaker 1 tons, too. The bolt pattern is a very large 6 lug, not interchangeable with GM 6 lug.
What does your truck have on it now?

If you look in a 62 owners manuel it list 3 different gvw's for half ton and then gives the tire sizes. 2 15 in and one 17.5 in

I just referenced the 1960 manual, it does show a listing for the 17.5 6 ply with the 5600 GVW. I'm going to say it wasn't a common option, as it isn't listed in the guides.
