I'm 6' 4", my son is over 6' 5" and my eyes are just about even with the top of the door window. I was wondering if there is a way for the seat springs to be modified, lowered. Does the gas tank have to be moved out of the cab for buckets seats to work. We do OK with leg room but a little more wouldn't hurt.

| | | | | Joined: Apr 2000 Posts: 199 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2000 Posts: 199 | We've got an 88 full size Chevy truck seat in our '54 and at 6'1" it was too low so I made 4" risers out of flat stock bent into an "S" on each side. The seat was free. If you are that much taller, you can easily change the height by not making the uprights on the "S" form as long. | | |
