I beleive the 250 is a few inches longer. I just measured a 1954 full-pressure 235 and a 250 I've got in storage. The 235 is 39 inches from the front of the fan to the back of the bellhousing where the transmission bolts on. The same dimension on the 250 is 40 inches. Jerry

you will need an adapter to mate the 700R4 to a 235. However the complete 250/700R4 package would be easy and get you a few more ponies.

Do i push the motor forward to line up with the existing drive shaft or set the motor in place and adapt the drive shaft length. Also is the spline different in the 700r4. | | |
