they work pretty good.
PM me for more info..I didnnt ever take any pics while they were out of the doors sorry..i could pop off the door panels an get ya a few pics of how they work an fit..it is tight in there.

Thanks for offering but I wouldn't ask you to do that. I have thought of all the compact cars in salvage yards with slimline doors and power windows. Long as one had enough vertical travel seems like it would work.

Dan the problem with most modern cable and pulley type systems is they are designed to work with curved glass.i.e. the regulator follows an arc. There are some lever type regulators that might work,but none that I know of at the moment. It might take a junkyard 'tour' and some more research...... I'm not sure if you guys have the F*rd Transit over there,but i'm looking into that one myself. They have a relatively compact,self contained lever type regulator.

The E-350 passenger van is the closest I drove one when I lived over there and wonder why they haven't built them here. Great vehicles except for the steering wheel they put on the wrong side.

I found some aftermarket PW kits for the A/D. A couple were based on the VW Golf cable and track system. I did a quick tour of a local Pick-N-Pull salvage yard and found only Golf's with manual windows. I'll go back when I can stay awhile and try some Asian imports.
