Does anybody have any pics of a dual exhaust setup on an inline 6 for a 47-53 chassis? I'd like to mock up and make an exhaust system for my truck without having to set the body back on if at all possible. Anybody who would have some pics preferable with body off, it would be greatly appreciated. Body on is fine too.

Thanks

pplummer, since no one has responded yet I will make a comment here. Perhaps you have or know someone with an assembly manual that will show you what you want. I have a 52 panel and it is pretty straight forward...down the driver side.

(my problem is getting duals on the panel with the gas tank taking up so much room on the passenger side)

I have a manual in the shop but not sure if it shows what your looking for or not. I can take a look and if it does I can scan it and email it to you..... Do you still need it???

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Take a look at Patricks (truck parts. Last year he had a company produce some high quality polished stainless exhaust that mount right up to the fentons. They were manufactured for hal ton trucks and are full length dual exhaust.

Check out the link. I am not sure if there is a pic on line, but request a catalogue. Hefty price, but will last a life time.

Thanks Gents. I wondered if that was the case. I do have an assembly manual, but know that routing duals is a different animal. I'll call Patrick for a catalog. I do order parts from him regularly.

I have a 1950 GMC running a six with a Howard intake and Fentons running dual exhaust out the back of my truck. You can look at the webshots album in the link that will show you how I ran my exhaust.
