Hey guys,
I searched, but no luck, so do any of you guys know of some brake parts suppliers?

I'm looking to upgrade my ('57 1/2 ton) bakes to self adjust.
You mostly come across disc kits, but I'm looking to keep my drum/drum manual setup.

I did find a reasonable dual chamber master at Jim carter for $90.
Gonna do shoes & cylinders too, & want to add the self adjusters.
Thanks in advance.
Rick.

First off I don't know why you would want to change to self adj. The old adjustable brakes worked fine. A simple adjustment every 5000 miles or so shouldn't hurt anyone. 1963 up had the self adjusting brakes. Ive never done it but you can get the parts from any parts store. They have a self adjuster repir kit left & right that has the levers & adj. screw. Plus you will need a Combo kit which contains all the springs & retainers. You will need the later model shoe set. I can see the dual master cyl. If you need any part numbers I have Carquest & Napa catalogs.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
