The Stovebolt Site Forums The Parking Lot '60-'66 Trucks 58 bed to a 62 ?

I bought a stepside bed and vintage camper shell off a 58 apache and was going to put the camper on my 62 GMC but the camper was too short,my stepside bed is over 8' off of a 65 chevy, my question is will the 58 bed fit my 62 GMC? the 65 dose but yet dose not, the frame is a different width and I would have to remount the bed to frame mounts to put it on, my basic question is what will be my headache with the bed swap?

the 55-66 beds are the same, except for the cross sill details - use some of the cross sills from the 62 bed as necessary to adapt the 58 bed to your frame
