The chrome running boards are really a nice addition to our trucks. When it comes to removing these running boards the only attaching bolts are at the running board brackets, i'm I right? anyone got any pic's of this removal? | | | | | Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 2,201 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 2,201 | There are three standard bolts connecting the running board to the rear fender, one connecting the splash apron to the rear fender and six carriage bolts (two in each bracket) underneath. All the bolts are 1/4"x20 thread, so I suggest if they don't want to come undone easily, put your wrench on tighten and just break them off and replace them. | | |
