Made sure the clips were popped all the way in, etc., but that channel at the base of the glass will no longer pass by the window seals........I'm tempted to take one side out, and try it that way. The curved part of the seal has to slide in on each side of the weatherstrip on the door latch end... before it gets snapped in.
The big weatherstrip around the door frame also gets REALLY tight down inside the door itself. I had to take a small closed box end wrench and use it to push the weatherstrip farther into the frame.
