What year 235 will you be taking the water pump off of? If it is a 1955-1st series or earlier 235, the relocation plate should serve you well.
Does the width of the fan belt grooves on the water pump and the harmonic balancer (and the generator/alternator) match? If they do not match, you might want to use the harmonic balancer from your 235 (assuming the widths match on the 235's water pump and harmonic balancer).

Just take your time. You might try reading my documented trials with the adpter on the stovebolt thread. If you can't find it, I'll post a link. It took me a couple of time before it didn't leak but I finally got it right and it keeps the rig cool and doesn't leak.
