Hello everyone,

Just wondering where the dome light switch in a 1941 chevy 1/2 tonne is located and what type of switch it is?

A picture would be great.

Please let me know,

Thanks alot!

Well, you learn something new everyday. Don't know where the switch goes, but I sure would like to see a pic of your dome light.

Hmmmm...wonder if this is an after-market item. Don't recall seeing them on any " stock " trucks I have looked at over the years.

The 46 I have has a dome light above the driver but I don't know if it was origional, several modifications were done to the wiring over the years. The wiring diagram shows a dome light c/w a switch at the light but indicates "??? Job Only", can't make out the first word.

Panel Jobs only - the pickups had no dome light from the factory.

Only switched light on my 46, as well as the several trucks 41-46 I've owned is in the center of the dash & it barely glows. Has a little lever/ on off switch, no dome light.

Should be an easy deal to add one from the AD style trucks.
