HEY GUYS,

DOES ANYONE KNOW THE STANDARD SIZE GAS TANK IN A 66 C-20? HAVEN'T HAD A CHANCE TO PURCHASE A MANUAL YET SO A LITTLE UNSURE.

ALSO, SINCE MY FUEL GAUGE DOESN'T WORK, I AM ALWAYS JUST "TOPPING" IT OFF TO MAKE SURE I DON'T END UP ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, SO HAVEN'T HAD THE CHANCE TO SEE HOW MUCH IT TAKES TO FILL THE TANK UP FROM EMPTY. ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

SHOULD I JUST ORDER THE NEW SENDING UNIT NOW, OR DIG INTO IT AND SEE IF IT IS SOMETHING SIMPLE LIKE THE FLOAT?

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY COMMENTS OR INFO.

DOUG

Standard tank is 18.5 gallons.
A 21 gallon tank was available.
School buses had a 30 gallon tank.

thanks guys,
I must have the 18.5. It had to be darn near empty one time and it took about 15 gallons.
Not really a "long range" tank now is it?
