Is it a difference in models? Pat

I guess Cletus knows more than GM did when they put out the brochure! Of course, this RPO would not be selected if you ordered RPO 390, De Luxe Cab and Equipment (RPO 390 had a slightly different name in later years, but it was still one of the options for obtaining a 5-window cab).

If you have the rear corner windows option on an Advance-Design truck: in 1948, you'd have a 7 window cab; in 1952, you'd have a 9 window cab; and, in 1954, you'd have an 8 window cab. Go figure?

There are either one or two WINDSHIELDS, none or two VENTS, and finally two side/two corner/and one rear WINDOW or just the two side and one rear window. Now matter how you count that it comes to either three or five windows. When you look through a telescope your looking through glass but you don't call it a window. It ended a lot of confusion when you needed a side glass replaced that you could tell the parts people that you needed either a window or a vent.

If the windshield is not a window in the cab; and you just look at the rest of the cab (forget about the doors - they are not part of the cab part number), then it would seem you would have a one window cab or a three window cab?
