The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop dual pulley harmonic balancer?

Anybody out there know if there is a H/Balancer with dual pulleys to run p/s,a/c, w/p, and alternator on a 235? I've seen some that ran one belt for alt, w/p, and a/c compressor but surely there must be some way to modify a GM 2 pulley rig for an internally balanced 235.

Any info sure would be appreciated.

Try Patricks. I think he makes an AC kit/brackets for the 235.

The 53/54 passenger cars with power steering had two pulleys but like alot of this stuff, hens teeth. Some time back the Inliner's Newsletter had a small article on modifying a 292 three gruve pulley for use on 235/261. This amounted to turning off the BACK gruve on a lathe, thus making it suitable for the 235. At that time you could still get this 292 3 gruve new from Chevy.

They can be found on the 261s in shool buses and similar big rigs.
