This is my '66 short stepside, it started as a long wb fleetside which was put on a swb leaf springed frame. I used a bed from a 78 and had the gas filler doors plugged and closed up the opening in the cab side. When we found it the sunroof was already there otherwise there would be no hole in the cab roof. It has a 292 in the engine compartment now and I don't know what if any I will do to it or replace it with a newer V6 with overdrive. I have a automobile 4 speed to put in later if I want and it has a grandma 4 spd now. Since the photos were taken I've added a roll up tonneau cover and a hitch receiver. I still need to install disc brakes and drop spindles before I can get the rake that I'm looking for. Leaning towards Chrome reversed (deep)or chrome ralleys for the 6 lug axles.
