I looked in LMC, Bowtie, and Jim Carter and none of them sell them. Mine have about rusted through right at the bottom just above the threads.

Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 | If you want original looking ones that are forged semi flat on the top you could get them bent at a spring or big truck shop then have a blacksmith flatten them.
That's the method I used.
Alternatively you could order some from a GM dealer for a 90's Chevy 3500HD (not the pickup) they should be very similar. Also some P-30 chassis use similar ones. Best to look and be sure one of those options will work both shape and length wise before ordering.

I had some made for the front of my 1948 two ton, and they did not fit well. I ended up using my old bolts, but new nuts. The fit is pretty darn tight in order for everything to line up correctly.

They just took the old bolt and made identical parts.
