Hi all,
So I've joined because a 1950 Chevy pickup was passed down to me from my wife's family. Her grandfather bought it used in 66 and later passed to his son, my father-in-law. It has been sitting for 20+ years but rust is surprisingly minimal. I've yet to find what will prob be a lot of other problems.
Here it is being loaded up to move down to my home in Long Beach.

BTW, I heard about the Chevy Restoration Pack. I called but it isn't free anymore. Now they're asking for $50. I don't know what's in it. Anyone order one before? Is it worth $50?

Welcome to the Stovebolt. As for the restoration packet a recent thread here on the bolt shows that most don't think its worth the money and all you get are some photo copies. 54Tow has given you the place for good info and what you don't get on the online manuals you can get here at the stovebolt!!!
Good luck and keep us posted with some pics!!

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
