I know that you can floor mount an eaton.

Do your research on transmissions. Even the mighty Allison will have issues with enough torque. However if you cant hook up the rear wheels, you cant transfer the torque. That simply equates to wheels spin. do a search for transmission specialist that deal with hopped up diesels. In fact, give the folks at Gale Banks a call. They play with duramax's all the time and get up to 750 hp. they can point you toward a transmission that will live.

Bill Burmeister | | | | Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 57 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 57 | Alright well i have been on some diesel forums as well and the only person i have found that has broken a ZF S6-650 was a man who was pulling a sled in high range with a truck that is in the 1500 ft lbs range so i dont think i need to worry about the ZF. i have multiple persons who have the tranny in their trucks with 1000ft lbs+ but i will still research all the info yu have given me. thanks!!! jonathan
P.S. is there a way to delete threads that you dont use anymore or do they just stay in the archive for someone else to look up?
