This picture is from Inliners.org.

This intake is weird, funky and I like it!
Does anyone know what company manufactured it?

To me it looks like a stock intake that was modified.

Yes, it does. The center section looks like it's capped?
But the 'runners' are added on.

I'm intreagued...

The runners are bolted down with a standard 1bbl. carb flange. Weird.

yeah that is some sort of custom job, it looks kind of neat though. i have a mechanically gifted friend that makes all of his own intake maifolds and headers. it is really cool because no one hs parts like his. i am trying to talk him into making a intake and headers for my 235.

Here is what a fellow HAMBer had to say:

'That's a stock intake with a couple of carb risers welded to it. Gotha and Almquist used to sell universal carb risers for both two bolt one barrels and 94/97 type three bolt two barrels. Another trick was to sacrifice a coupe 97s for their bases, turn the bases upside down, and weld them to a stock cast iron intake. Then you could attatch the carbs to the intake with 5/16 bolts and nuts. Of course, back when this was popular, a used 97 went for 50 cents to a buck!'

Darn, that makes it even more interesting...
It looks soooooooooo clean?
