For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 31 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 31 | I don't have new seals on bottom of door's of my 52 to make a gestimate and see where they strike rocker panel. My doors are nice and level with rocker and have right gaps front and back. Should bottom of door be even with bottom of rocker or hang below just a bit? I understand there is probably not an exact measurement here and this might vary from truck to truck. Thanks in advance.

I believe there are pictures of where to install the bottom seals in the Factory Assembly Manual. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 83 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 83 | Nowadays there is a spec. for gaps between doors, hoods, fenders, quater panels; usually just a few MMs. BAck then I beleaive it was "an equal-distance" all around, which is what everybody uses anyway.
