Where can I find the correct 235 engine oil pan drain plug gasket? What's the correct type of gasket am I suppose to have on the 235?
The one that was on there was a really worn our plastic washer that I replaced with a coper one. Since I replaced the gasket, she's been leaving oil spots where ever I park my truck.

My truck don't leak oil, it just marks its teritory.
| | | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,897 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,897 | You should be able to get correct ones from GM parts dept. If you do not want to spend the little extra for the GM original part, you can get some plastic ones that are close and they should seal pretty well.
There is enough good in the worst of us and enough bad in the best of us that it does not behoove any of us to criticize the rest of us.

My ole GMC dosen't leak at the drain plug now! (there are still about 20 other places that it does  ) | | |
