Hi folks

I have a 65 that I am going to replace the engine in. Previous owner had a 250 weld to some crappy homemade motor mount. Just wondering what will bolt in the old truck to cradle a 305 motor.

I know you guys are the experts so I hope to find out soon. Might be hauling it out next week. Then the hunt for parts begin

thanks all,

Vic (gmc 910)

Also I use to have a boxwood cutting digram, but a computer crash took all the old stuff.
anyone have a wood cutting diagram for a 65 longbox fleetside ?

If you are talking about the SBC 305, all the v-8 motor perches and mounts will work. Thats if the po welder didn't weld the holes closed. You should be able to find them salvage, but there are custom made ones also. Dave
