For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 19 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 19 | Hi folks
I have a 65 that I am going to replace the engine in. Previous owner had a 250 weld to some crappy homemade motor mount. Just wondering what will bolt in the old truck to cradle a 305 motor.
I know you guys are the experts so I hope to find out soon. Might be hauling it out next week. Then the hunt for parts begin
thanks all,
Vic (gmc 910)
Also I use to have a boxwood cutting digram, but a computer crash took all the old stuff. anyone have a wood cutting diagram for a 65 longbox fleetside ?

Thats if the po welder didn't weld the holes closed. You should be able to find them salvage, but there are custom made ones also. Dave
