I just recently rebuilt a 62 235 and I have the clifford intake on it. It just recently donned on me that when I took the original intake off, there were rings for a seal on the inner side between the head and the intake. It looks like they may fit on the clifford intake. I cant seem to find them in the parts pile, so I must have thrown them out. Do need these rings? if so where can I get new ones?

Yes you need the alignment rings and all major vendors should carry them, Jim Carters, Chevs of 40s etc. Make sure you get the 235 size!

Thanks. It seems to run good without them, but they are only $6.00 for the set. So I might as well put them on.
