I am restoring a 1946 1/2 ton chevy pickup
I have a chance to pick up a 1/2 ton gmc truck parts truck. Is this the same truck. I am interested in the running boards and reara fenders. Is this the same?

You might consider restoring the jimmy instead. The jimmy came with a better engine than the chevy.
